SubSensory relaunches with debut EP from U.S. techno artist Optimal Decay
Following a year’s break from releasing, North American techno label SubSensory Recordings kicks off a series of 2016 releases with the debut EP from new artist Optimal Decay. The Bite EP, releasing digitally on January 11th, 2016, features four tracks of pure techno rhythm and machine soul. The release helps redefine the sound and intent of the label, and is already receiving support from Slam, Truncate, Sam Paganini, Kyle Geiger and many more.
Optimal Decay is a veteran techno producer from the west coast U.S.A. You’ll find very little about the artist online or on social media. Suffice to say that Optimal Decay chooses to fly under the radar. However, since becoming involved in electronic music production nearly two decades ago in the Midwest region, he’s released under various monikers, both as a solo artist and as part of the duo Piltdown Sound. As Optimal Decay he sharpens his focus on high quality techno music, operating out of his Portland, Oregon studio.
