Marcus Knauer debuts on SubSensory with “Bearing Race”
Coming out January 25, 2016, SubSensory presents the debut release from North American techno artist Marcus Knauer. Following our most recent EP from another debut artist, Optimal Decay, we’re pleased to help launch another class act who’s been simmering under the surface for quite some time (right here in our home town of Portland, Oregon, no less!).
With the”Bearing Race” EP, Marcus Knauer emerges from the underground with three tracks of dark, driving techno music. Strong grooves, classic percussion and sinister overtones make these great as both dj tools and long players. Knauer is, after all, a veteran of nearly two decades. He produced and dj’d under various monikers in the 90’s and 2000’s, and only recently returned to the studio with a new focus and sound. The results have been impressive. We’ve already signed two EP’s from him for 2016, and you can count on seeing more from him in the future.
