Headless Horseman returns to the Liquor Store, Nov 30, 2019
SubSensory is bringing in-demand live electronic music act Headless Horseman to the Liquor Store for a rare PDX appearance. This marks Headless Horseman’s second appearance in Portland.
Unlike the much maligned masked performers of contemporary EDM, Headless Horseman eschews the bright flashy masks and LED lights. Instead, he opts to remain anonymous behind a hooded veil that allows the audience to focus on the artist’s hands, rather than his persona, as he works an impressive array of analog boxes and machines.
From the shadows to the stage, Headless Horseman’s musical efforts are meticulously executed without compromise: dark, raw and rhythmic IDM flavoured Techno. His hardware only live sets at Berghain, Berlin Atonal, Boiler Room and worldwide have showcased the Horseman’s insurmountable skills as a producer and cemented his place in todays techno scene.
Local support for the event will be provided by SubSensory label owner JAK and up-and-coming local DJ &Roses.
